Client Services Director Cisco
Emma Carpenter is a results focused global sales leader with an outstanding track record selling and developing strategic relationships into Carrier, Enterprise, National and Global accounts. Emma has extensive experience selling to and through complex customers and partners, including creating highly successful new go to market sales motions and leveraging partner ecosystems.
Born and educated in the UK, Emma has a first class bachelor’s degree in Communication Engineering and a Master’s degree in Information Engineering. Emma has a passion for people development and a deep heritage in technology.
Emma joined Cisco in October 2016 as Client Services Director to drive all services sales into one of Cisco’s largest Global Service Providers. Under her leadership and within 9 months her team finished at 125% of plan with over $400M of services booked, resulting in her promotion to run the network business including Mobility, Optical and Video Media teams.
Prior to joining Cisco, Emma was responsible for all Global Service Provider and System Integrator sales for Avaya. Her team drove all sales to and through the complex Service Provider and System Integrator customer base, securing multi hundreds of million dollars selling leading edge service, cloud and solution sales.
Emma currently resides in Boston with her husband and two energetic boys. Emma has a passion for fitness which includes running, gym and during the winter enjoys snowboarding with the family.
Emma is also a passionate advocate for children’s welfare and is an active board member of the Robert F Kennedy’s Children’s Action Corps.
