Erica Buchholz

Erica Buchholz is a Senior Manager of Marketing Communications at Comcast. She leads the competitive marketing efforts for the Xfinity brand, with the goal of developing strategic advertising responses to combat competitive pressures in the ever-changing telecommunications industry. She is responsible for leading the planning, research, strategy, creative development and implementation of all competitive communications including broadcast TV, radio, print, digital and social, while collaborating with advertising agency partners to execute the creative.

Erica started her career in account management at One Trick Pony, where she helped to execute digital advertising campaigns for top brands including Turner Broadcasting, American Express, Virgin Mobile, and Hard Rock International.

She joined Comcast in 2013 to support the Acquisition Marketing team, executing national acquisition advertising campaigns for the Xfinity product portfolio.  In this role, she was responsible for assisting in all facets of the advertising campaign development process – from consumer research to help identify effective strategies and campaign ideas; to campaign concepting and development; to production and execution of 360-marketing campaigns inclusive of television, radio, and newspaper advertising. In 2016, she moved into the Competitive Marketing Communications role, to help develop response strategies and creative to combat competitive pressures.

Erica attended Syracuse University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Advertising and a minor in Nutrition. She currently resides in Malvern, PA.
