She was promoted to director in 2011 after serving as associate director in the same position since 2010. Hascall joined ESPN in 2000 as a production assistant and was elevated to associate producer in 2004. In these roles she worked across multiple sports producing in-game graphics and replays, coordinating interviews and managing camera crews.

From 2005 to 2007, she served as a senior production coordinator overseeing the day-to-day responsibilities of multiple ESPN’s production assistants and associate producers. In this position, she was also the direct contact for the production personnel assigned to work on ESPN’s college football, College World Series and NCAA Championships content. Hascall was promoted to production manager in 2007, adding several responsibilities to her assignments, including assisting senior coordinating producers with the production management of college football and the College World Series.

Hascall’s various contributions to the community include volunteering at a hospice care facility with terminally ill patients and speaking at colleges across the country where she serves as a mentor to journalism students. She has also contributed to the Pan-Mass Challenge, St. Jude Warrior Dash, Jimmy V Golf Tournaments, National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Dana Farber Cancer Research, St. Mark’s Catholic Church and Adopt a Family.

An Omaha native, Hascall graduated from the University of Nebraska with a Bachelor of Journalism in Broadcasting with minors in marketing, English and communication studies in 2000.
