Erin Lorenz is the Sr. Director of IT, CAO Technology, for Suddenlink Communications in St. Louis, MO. In her current role, Erin leads a team of IT professionals tasked with overseeing the portfolio of Commercial and Advertising Operations (CAO) projects and systems, including Salesforce and Ericsson Granite. The team is invested in ensuring system quality and scalability, establishing and implementing strategic goals, management and integration of strategic platforms and governance processes that map technology to business initiatives. Her team ensures these systems are in alignment with Suddenlink IT direction and the business objectives of partners in the CAO Division. Erin’s responsibilities include data management, budgeting, controls, compliance, and managing procedures for identifying and implementing technology best practices across the CAO portfolio.
Prior roles at Suddenlink Communications include Sr. Director of IT, HR Applications, Director of IT, Manager of IT and Sr. Programmer Analyst. Prior to joining Suddenlink in 2004, Erin made an impact through many diverse IT roles including: Developer, Systems Analyst and Project Manager for A.G. Edwards and Systems Consultants, Inc.
Erin is a strategic leader in the Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) Midwest Chapter and has held many key positions since joining in 2009. She previously served in the roles of Director-at-Large, Membership Chair and Treasurer and currently serves as Vice President on the Board’s Executive Committee. Erin is a 2011 Rising Leader, 2013 Betsy Magness Leadership Institute (BMLI) Fellow and is also the recipient of the 2011 Spirit of the Midwest “Woman in Technology” award.
