Sr. Manager, Product Sales Support & Analysis Comcast
Eylen Vargas has 17 years of experience in communications and program management. She joined Time Warner Cable in April 2002 then later continued her work with the merge with Comcast in 2007. She spent the initial five years working in customer service call centers. She was promoted to Supervisor in 2007 when she began supporting the Comcast Houston sales and support channels with a focus on sales, product launches, marketing campaigns, commission compensation and care initiatives in that portfolio. For the last 2 years she holds the position of Senior Manager of product sales and support and she works cross-functionally with various functional areas in her division office as well as the corporate and regional counterparts and has recently taken on additional responsibilities to manage project intakes for West Division. Prior to Comcast, Eylen worked for Verizon Wireless.
Eylen has participated in the WICT Mentee Program 2012-2013, she was nominated as Houston ELITE MVP 2012 and 2014, and most recently, selected as the first class to complete the new Talent Manager Leadership for all Comcast in 2015. Only 3 leaders are selected per region.
She resides in Houston, Texas and enjoys spending quality time with her 4 kids, family and friends. Eylen comes from a large Colombian family (she has 7 siblings and has over 15 nieces and nephews). She also enjoys fitness classes, dancing, and traveling.
