Gimette DeLaughter is newly Video Operations Support Manager for Cox Communications Inc. Prior to that DeLaughter was Lead Systems Engineer of Native Applications at Cox. In this position DeLaughter was a key player in the initial new product development and deployment of the User Guide and Video OnDemand client applications that went to millions of Cox Customers homes.
DeLaughter joined the Cox Engineering team in 2006. Prior to joining Cox, she developed interactive television products for The Weather Channel, including one of the first OCAP applications used in cable shows world wide. A graduate of The University of South Florida and Colorado State University, DeLaughter holds a bachelors degree in Management Information Systems and a Masters in Business Administration respectively. She is also an active member of SCTE as well as WICT.
