Grace Killelea

Grace Killelea is the Senior Vice President of Talent, leading the integrated Talent Management, Talent Acquisition and Diversity functions for Comcast.   

Previously, Grace was Vice President of Talent Management for Comcast, partnering with Comcast talent management and diversity leads enterprise-wide to identify top internal leaders and develop succession and leadership pathways. Prior to that she was Vice President of Human Resources for Comcast Spotlight. Comcast Spotlight has 3600 employees nationwide and provides products and services to support advertising sales on cable networks. Spotlight is a two billion dollar division of Comcast Cable. Grace has over 25 years of progressive Human Resource experience.

Grace holds a Masters Degree from American University’s Kogod School of Business and Public Affairs, where she graduated with honors. She rounded out her training at the prestigious Center for Creative Leadership in Greensboro, NC which is considered one of the best leadership programs in the United States. She is an alumnus of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute, Class XI, which is the premier leadership program for women in the telecommunications industry. For the past 7 years she has served as the national facilitator of the Betsy Magness Leadership program and is the only woman in the industry to hold this position. In this role Grace has worked with over 500 executive woman leaders across our entire industry. Her genuine passion to support and grow female leaders is an important element of the BMLI program. She has partnered with WICT to strengthen the networking and leadership opportunities provided by the BMLI program. 

As a consultant she wrote the Master Course on “Scouting, Selecting and Retaining Diverse Talent” for the Cable and Telecommunications Human Resource Association (CHTRA). She also actively supports the Emma Bowen Foundation which promotes diversity by providing internships to minority students throughout the country.. She holds a seat on the Board of Directors for the foundation and her team has spearheaded Comcast’s EBF internship program. Comcast is now the number one employer of EB interns in the industry.

In addition, she is a certified Birkman™ consultant.  Utilizing her extensive human resource skills and The Birkman™ assessment instrument, she excels in providing organizational teams, emerging leaders and work groups viable coaching that gives them the tools they need for progressive advancement and organizational successes. At Comcast, Grace is frequently asked to provide training, coaching and leadership development to a variety of business units.

Grace’s corporate tenure includes positions as Senior Vice President for Lifetime Television, Vice President for Prime Communications and Director of Human Resources for SBC Communications. Also, she was the Founder and President of Sterling Resource Group. She is a sought after speaker on the topics of leadership, personal branding and professional development in addition to being a, mentor, “connector” and coach internally at Comcast and throughout the industry.  She received the 2006 Lucille Larkin Lifetime Achievement Award winner for the WICT’s Philadelphia Chapter and the 2007 Mentor of the Year award from WICT’s Northern California Chapter.  In 2008 she was named a "Woman of Power" by Diversity Plus Magazine.
