Heather Dowd-Priel is a VP of AMC Networks Ad Sales and Partnerships. Heather sets and implements Ad Sales strategies, drives business development efforts, and cultivates advertiser partnerships with agencies and clients to achieve revenue growth across the linear, digital, advanced data & content portfolio for AMC Networks. She is a principal lead during annual Upfront negotiations for AMC Networks with major Agency Holding companies, Publicis & GroupM.
Heather is a mentor for the Boyd Initiative, a new organization that mentors young black students and professionals interested in careers in media. She created a “Coffee and Catch Up” series for the sales assistants with senior executives in different roles within the company.
Prior to joining AMC networks in 2013, she worked at NBCUniversal as an Account Executive for 14+ years representing a multitude of properties including Prime, Late Night, Daytime and Network & Cable News. Heather is an empathetic leader that drives results.
Heather holds a B.S. in Communications from St. John’s University and is based in NYC. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, three teenage daughters, and running and doing yoga.
