Heather Kindberg is the Production Finance Manager of Film in the Production Finance Department at Crown Media. Her team monitors spending on the 30-40 Crown-made films shot each year, liaising with the location production accounting teams and verifying their reporting. The Production Finance Department is currently building a new financial analysis program, and Heather is working with the tech team to create improved reporting and reconciling procedures. She is also a current member of Crown’s ERC, contributing to the company’s D&I initiatives.
Prior to working at Crown Media, Heather freelanced on independent feature films and television shows for the majority of her career, starting as a Production Assistant and working her way up into production accounting, supervising and managing.
Heather graduated from California State University, Northridge with a Bachelor of Arts in English and a single-subject secondary teaching credential. She resides in Los Angeles, and outside of work she loves travel, reading, writing, and spending time with her grown son, Malike.
