Ia Robinson

Ia Robinson is the Director of Programming and Development for the Scripps Networks Interactive’s powerhouse Food Network and Cooking Channel brands. In this role, she has overseen production and development of hit shows like Chopped, Chopped Junior, Halloween Wars, Farmhouse Rules, Rev Run’s Sunday Suppers, Cake Wars & Christmas Cake Wars, as well as My Grandmother’s Ravioli. Prior to joining Food Network and Cooking Channel, Robinson worked as a segment producer at MTV where she was responsible for shooting, writing and producing both tape and live projects, as well as coordinating talent. She also worked as the Entertainment Producer at ABC’s Good Morning America and 20/20, as well as The Early Show on CBS, where she produced multi-camera live remotes and daily entertainment tape segments.

 

Robinson received her bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, where she studied communications. Robinson is a New York native and a producer at heart, who believes passionately in all of the projects vying for her attention. She works diligently to ensure each one has the creativity and attention to detail it deserves.
