Ingrid Simunic

​Ingrid Simunic is Senior Director of Product Management at Charter Communications. Prior to the recent Charter/Time Warner Cable/Bright House merger, she led top-priority technology and marketing programs – including digital platforms – for the legacy TWC, across its three lines of business. Ingrid was responsible for the residential phone product, which has grown from 500,000 to five million customers and $2 billion in revenue. She was a major player in helping the company launch more than 50 new features and products, having created apps for television, laptop and mobile devices that change how consumers think about and use phones.

 

Prior to joining TWC, Ingrid held the Global Head of Marketing position at VocalTec, a pioneering Voice Over IP (VoIP) company in the U.S. and, before that, she was Head of Marketing Strategy at T-Mobile (formerly Eurotel) in Slovakia. She served as a corporate board director for Telio, a publicly traded company in Norway.

 

Ingrid is Treasurer, Society of Cable Telecommunications Engineers (SCTE) in New York. She previously served as Director-at-Large of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) and as President of WICT’s New York Chapter.

 

A mentor and advisor to university students, Ingrid is a frequent speaker at industry and academic forums. She has also been recognized with numerous industry awards and recognition, including being named one of Cablefax: The Magazine’s Most Powerful Women “Top Women in Technology” in 2014 and 2015. She also received the 2013 award for "Outstanding Achievements and Contributions to Community Empowerment" by the Society of 110 Foreign Consuls in New York.

 

Ingrid received an MBA degree in Management from the City University of Seattle, and both an MBA and a PhD in Business and Marketing from the University of Economics in Bratislava, Slovakia.
