Jacklyn Freesen

Jackie Freesen is a Senior Manager of Digital Media Programming at ESPN and has been with the company for 10+ years. In her current role, she oversees the strategy and distribution of authenticated VOD content for ESPN both on and off Disney owned and operated platforms. In addition to managing the ESPN On Demand affiliate portfolio and ESPN’s in-app TVE VOD offering, Jackie has played a key role on the team that developed and launched ESPN+. Her contributions to the launch and continued success of ESPN+ include establishing the operational pipeline and strategic distribution of new Films and Original Content as well as building and sustaining the growth of the ESPN+ Archive.

Prior to her time overseeing VOD and Original Content distribution on the Digital Programming Team, Jackie began her career with ESPN in Production Operations. For over two and a half years in Production, she served as a Network Coordinator, Network AD, Master Control Operator, and spent time in the Studio group as a Camera and Video Operator.

Jackie earned her bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications from the University of Florida. She is originally from Ohio but currently resides in Connecticut with her dog Walter.
