Jamie Latimore

Jamie Latimore is a Senior Manager on the Enterprise Business Intelligence team at Comcast, where she “productizes” data, analysis and insights to help solve key business challenges.   In this role,  she leverages a matrixed team of functional and technical experts to ideate, plan, build and deploy business critical data products in a format readily consumable by a variety of business functions.   She recently kicked off a new data product development effort in support of a key company-wide strategic initiative to improve the experience for customers during their move across physical addresses.  Jamie is leading the cross-functional team bridging customer relationships across locations and over time, tying together multiple internal and 3rd party data sources through complicated logic and database development.  Through this effort, she is helping to solve a cable industry-wide challenge of customer accounts tied to physical addresses.

Jamie joined Comcast in 2015 after working as a consultant in Sales and Marketing where she was responsible for providing analysis that helped redefine and craft new viewpoints on customer churn, retention strategies, multi-cultural segmentation and competitive positioning.   She started her career at Digital Equipment Corporation (DEC) as part of their Financial Development Program, where she rotated through positions in Corporate FP&A, Sales & Marketing and Product Manufacturing, supporting various initiatives ranging from management reporting process improvement to a large scale SAP implementation.

After DEC, Jamie moved into management consulting, spending the next several years at Arthur Andersen, BearingPoint and North Highland with engagements spanning the financial services, hospitality, utilities and telecommunications industries.  As a consultant, she built and deployed strategic analytic platforms by creatively exploiting existing technology and data to meet her client’s needs.   Her leadership and commitment to quality frequently led to multi-year engagements and embedded responsibility within her client’s organizations.

Throughout her career, Jamie has focused on one of the fastest-growing professional fields in STEM – data mining, analysis and insight generation.  She is one of experts and an emerging leader in her field, combining statistical tools and software coding skills with business understanding to spark action and generate positive impact.

Jamie is a graduate of Rutgers University where she completed dual degrees in Accounting (BS) and Economics(BA) and was a member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, international honor society for economics.   She is an active member of the National Association for Multi-ethnicity In Communications (NAMIC) and Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT).  She will be participating in the 2016 WICT Rising Leaders Program.
