Jan Salinas serves as the Director, IT Service Assurance for the West Region of Time Warner Cable. In this role, she is responsible for directing three departments for the West Region IT organization to identify and implement operational efficiencies in new and existing processes, to maintain acceptable service levels for supporting end users of IT applications and resources and to ensure PCI, Sarbanes-Oxley and internal control compliance across all IT departments and billing systems. In addition, she manages the budget and outlook process for operating expenses, headcount and capital expenditures for the West Region IT organization.
Ms. Salinas joined Time Warner Cable in 2005 as a marketing coordinator at the system level and was promoted to a Marketing Manager in 2006, Division Accounting Manager in 2007, Division Senior Accounting Manager in 2008, Market Finance Manager in 2009, Market Senior Finance Manager in 2010 and Region Director of IT Service Assurance in 2012. Before joining Time Warner Cable, Ms. Salinas worked for Ernst & Young and a daily newspaper.
Ms. Salinas received a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from the University of Houston. She currently holds a CPA license with the state of Texas. She is a member of the Greater Texas Chapter of Women in Cable Telecommunications (WICT) serving on the Board of Directors for the past three years. Ms. Salinas resides in Denton, TX with her two girls, Allison and Leah.
