Janine Johnson is a Director of the Big South Region Project Management Office for Comcast Cable. As part of the Senior Leadership Team, Janine’s primary responsibilities include working collaboratively with key leaders and stakeholders to drive the strategic vision, mission and product roadmap priorities supporting Data, Voice, Video, Home, and Customer Care Products for both Residential and Commercial Business.
Janine is a twenty plus year veteran of the telecommunications industry focused on program/product management, product development, capacity and network planning; network engineering and design. Janine possesses extensive experience in managing large, complex, multi-faceted initiatives to deliver Comcast Products and Services with emphasis on ensuring the customer experience is the top priority. Janine has also worked for Cox, Accenture (formerly Anderson Consulting), AT&T and Allmerica Financial in roles spanning Actuarial/Financial Analyst, Project Manager, Program Manager and Application Architect.
Outside of work, Janine currently serves on the Executive Board as the Director At Large-Partnerships for Women In Cable Telecommunications (WICT), volunteers with Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV), serves as a volunteer to support ministry with North Point Community Church in Alpharetta, GA. Janine mentors several Comcast Employees through the Link to Leadership Program, and mentors several employees striving to become certified project managers. Janine actively supports the Digital Girls Program, which is a STEM outreach program, teaching young children the benefits of the Science Technology Program. She has also volunteered with Cool Girls, Inc. to share the cable industry history.
Janine received her Master of Science, focused on Project Management from Northeastern University, Boston, Massachusetts and is a certified Project Manager. Janine is a graduate from Half the Sky Women’s Leadership Program, founded by Grace Killelea and completed Comcast Foundation of Organization Leadership Program for high-potential employees. She resides in Atlanta, Georgia with her husband and has two lovely children.
