Associate Director, Business Affairs, Platform Distribution Strategy Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution
Jennifer is Associate Director, Business Affairs within Disney Media & Entertainment Distribution (DMED), Platform Distribution Strategy team. DMED is the arm of The Walt Disney Company (TWDC) responsible for all third-party media sales efforts for distribution, affiliate marketing and affiliate-related business operations for all of the TWDC’s direct-to-consumer services and linear media networks; content sales agreements for General Entertainment, Studios and Sports; as well as global theatrical film distribution and the Disney Music Group.
In her current role, she and her team are responsible for providing contractual and business guidance during negotiations with key distribution partners, identifying potential risks and proposing solutions, ensuring ongoing compliance with contractual commitments, and assessing affiliate contractual risk related to future programming and distribution strategies. She prides herself on being a collaborative and dependable teammate and leader.
Prior to her current role, Jennifer held positions in ESPN, Affiliate Accounting and Disney and ESPN Media Networks, Contract Administration. Over her 19 year career with TWDC, she has been honored to receive recognition with various awards and nominations for her business contributions and leadership, including ESPN Sales and Marketing Leadership Award (2008), ESPN Sales and Marketing Leadership Award (2013), ESPN Grand Slam Award (2013), WICT Emerging Leader – Management Nomination (2013), and WICT Woman to Watch (Management) Nomination (2016).
Jennifer is a graduate from the University of Connecticut. She resides in Connecticut with her husband and two teenage sons. When she is not delving into contracts, she enjoys reading, binging hopelessly romantic movies and tv, and embracing the role of cheerleader at her sons’ various sporting events.
