Jenny Blackburn is a highly accomplished Information Technology leader with a distinguished 19-year career in establishing, growing, and leading evolving organizations across Development, Business Analysis and Quality Assurance disciplines. Jenny has a verifiable track record of success in partnering with business owners, management and cross-functional implementation teams to guide the design and delivery of effective enterprise solutions. With a proven ability to adapt quickly to change, Jenny is able to maintain a highly motivated and engaged team in challenging business environments.
Jenny has spent the last 10 years at Time Warner Cable, starting her tenure as an Analyst before quickly moving into various management positions. As the current Manager of Analysis Services, she is responsible for the maintenance and enrichment of the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse and for the fulfillment of specialized business requests. In the role, she is faced with frequent, highly visible and urgent requests in support of meeting regulatory requirements, legal requests and supporting the company’s earnings reporting. As a result, Jenny has proven her skills in building, optimizing and expanding teams, processes, standards and best practices to enhance efficiency, maximize quality and increase customer/team satisfaction. With her intimate knowledge and understanding of Time Warner Cable’s business processes and people, she is a natural leader within the organization.
Prior to joining Time Warner Cable, Jenny started her career as a programmer/analyst for Wachovia Bank, now Wells Fargo. She then joined Electronic Data Systems (now Hewlett Packard) as a consultant which allowed her to acquire knowledge and skills in several industries and in several Information Technology disciplines.
Jenny earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems and in Management with a minor in International Business from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. This is where her quest for excellence flourished and led to her graduating cum laude as well as being invited to join three honor fraternities; Alpha Chi – National College Honor Society, Phi Gamma Mu – International Honor Society in Social Sciences, and Beta Gamma Sigma – International Honor Society.
Jenny currently serves as the Secretary of the WICT Carolinas Chapter. She has earned the certifications of Certified Test Manager through the International Institute of Software Testing (IIST) and of Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) through the Scrum Alliance. Outside of work, Jenny enjoys spending time with family and friends.
