Jeri is a 22-year Human Resource veteran with progressive experience in all aspects of human resource management. Her specialties include coaching and organizational development, benefits design and administration, training and development, recruitment and retention, design and implementation of corporate wellness initiatives, employee relations, compliance, and performance management. Jeri has a Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management from Spalding University in Louisville, Kentucky, and obtained her Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) certification in 2002. She has been a member of the national Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) since 1992, and has been an active member of the Bluegrass Society for Human Resource Management (BGSHRM) since 1992, including serving on the Board of Directors in various roles. Her roles on the BGSHRM Board of Directors included Best Places to Work Director (2008), President-Elect (2009), President (2010) and Past President (2011). Jeri is often asked to speak on human resource topics at high school/college career days, regularly conducts training on HR topics, and currently serves as a mentor to a handful of professionals who are new to the HR field.
Prior to joining Viamedia in 2010, Jeri was the HR Director for Gray, Inc., a regional construction management firm; was an HR Business Partner supporting the Corporate and Consumer Products Divisions with Lexmark International; and was Director of Operations & HR at a local benefits consulting firm.
