VP, Distribution Marketing A+E Networks

As Vice President of Distribution Marketing at A+E Networks, Jess Korner is charged with maximizing exposure and value for A+E Networks brands and content in partnership with Distributors and across platforms. Serving as the Marketing Lead on Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network, Jess stewards partnerships with cable, satellite and digital TV providers and specifically manages the Lifetime and Lifetime Movie Network brand message, image and presence in all Distributor customer facing initiatives. From an account perspective, Jess leads the development of marketing strategy and value propositions for Spectrum, Verizon, Altice, Hulu + Live TV and Philo. In her previous role as Senior Marketing Director, she oversaw marketing efforts around content licensing partnerships with Apple, Netflix, Hulu and Amazon.

Previously, Jess worked in the Content Distribution and Marketing Group at Viacom Media Networks, leading the content strategy, creative development and production for mtvn.com, an award-winning affiliate marketing web site showcasing promotional materials and programming information for the Viacom brands, including MTV, BET, VH1, Nickelodeon and Comedy Central. Jess also ran point on business communications, managing b2b email marketing campaign execution and developing interactive tools to facilitate internal and external information sharing.

Prior to her role at Viacom, Jess held positions in Affiliate Marketing at Oxygen Media and AMC Networks, where she began her career and learned from industry leaders she still admires today.  

A Queens, NY native, she holds a Bachelor’s degree from Binghamton University and resides in Brooklyn with her husband and three children.
