VP, Programming & Development Hallmark Media
Jessica Callahan is a Vice President of Programming & Development for Hallmark Media, home to Hallmark Channel, Hallmark Movies & Mysteries, Hallmark Drama, and Hallmark Movies Now. Based in the Los Angeles office, Jessica reports to Elizabeth Yost, SVP of Programming & Development.
In her role, Jessica is responsible for sourcing and guiding content to fit brand specifics then shepherding it through the production and post-production process. She works closely with producers, writers, and talent to bring quality, family-friendly entertainment to life. In her five years at Hallmark Media, Jessica has successfully brought over thirty MOWs to air.
Prior to her time at the network, Jessica spent a decade at Hallmark Hall of Fame Productions producing MOWS for CBS and ABC. Recently, she was tapped to bring back the legacy franchise for a new audience. Before transitioning into television in 2006, she was an editor of romance and mystery novels at Penguin Group in New York City.
Jessica received a Bachelor of Arts in English from Mount St. Mary’s University. She currently lives in Los Angeles.
