Jessica M. Tamarin serves as the Manager, Business & Legal Affairs at Comcast Cable for the Northeast Division located in Manchester, NH, covering thirteen states in the Northeast and East United States. In this role: she reviews and negotiates a wide range of contracts, supporting regulatory advocacy efforts, developing and administering compliance policies, designing and conduct training of sales, business, construction and legal personnel on commercial contracts and regulatory law, leading a team of talented paralegals, as well as managing cross-functional relationships working with in-house sales, marketing, executive, and engineering staff, in addition to outside clients and their counsel.
Jessica has been with Comcast for seven years and received the OneComcast Leader Award in 2012. Prior to Comcast, she was Operations Counsel at Adelphia Cable Communications for the Northeast Region. Prior to joining the cable industry, she practiced law gaining experience in real estate and intellectual property.
She is an active participant in WICT, taking part in the 2012 Mentor program and was recently accepted into the WICT Rising Leaders Program, fall 2013.
Jessica is a Licensed Massachusetts Attorney, holding a Juris Doctorate with a High Technology Concentration from Suffolk University Law School, a Master of Arts degree from Boston College in Russian Language and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Boston College in Russian Language/Pre-Law. She has studied abroad at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford University (Oxford, England), Lunds University (Lund, Sweden) and the Dostoevsky Museum (St. Petersburg, Russia). She resides in North Andover, MA, with her husband David, enjoying taking long walks and playing with their three cats.
