Jinni Kapp currently serves as the director of Project Management Office (PMO) for Comcast, located in Houston, Jinni joined Comcast HQ in 2008. Prior to Comcast, Jinni was the PMO director for Iron Mountain Corporation.
Jinni has over 20 years of professional experience across multi industries and in depth knowledge and experience in project management. For the past two years, the Project Management Institute (PMI) recognized Jinni as a Dr. Harold Kerzner Award finalist for project management excellence and dedication to the profession. She has a MBA and master’s degrees in both Chemistry and Computer Science, is a PMI certified project management professional (PMP), and a PMI certified Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) and Scrum Master.
Jinni brings her expertise to Houston where she leads the PMO team, responsible for directing the strategic planning involved with important and large-scale business projects. Jinni reports directly to SVR of the region and is a member of SLT.
Jinni is an active WICT member. She served in the WICT Philadelphia Chapter as a board member and attended WICT leadership conferences.
In addition to WICT, Jinni also served as the President of Toastmasters for Comcast Club in Philadelphia. When she was relocated to Houston, she has built the very first Houston Comcast Toastmasters Club and is serving as the president.
In her spare time, Jinni enjoys reading, watching movies, cooking and outdoor activities.
