JJ Jones is a seasoned media professional currently serving as the Senior Director of Sales for Spectrum Reach. Her years of experience include media sales in newspaper, linear television and the advanced/digital advertising space. JJ oversees the Big West region of Spectrum Reach with offices in the following states: Wyoming, Montana, Colorado, Washington, Oregon, Nevada, California and Hawaii.
Before Spectrum Reach, JJ worked for Gannett as Regional Sales Director in northern Nevada and the Carolina’s. She had a successful seventeen year run with Gannett, working her way up from her first position as Account Coordinator. Her last role involved leading the sales teams to drive strategic revenue growth across multiple platforms, including cars.com, to local and regional automotive dealerships.
JJ also served as Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Media News Group in southern California.
JJ is passionate about taking a consultative approach so buyers, planners, and clients can reach their audience in this ever-evolving media landscape. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Communications from University of Southern California, Santa Barbara while playing for the softball team as a Division I student athlete.
JJ lives in Reno, NV with her husband and two children, is well connected to the community and recently became a member of the Elks Lodge.
