Joan Ritchie, CPA, is a Vice President of Finance & Accounting for the National Accounting Operations group (NAO) at Comcast, where she has served since the group’s inception in 2011. Joan was instrumental in establishing the NAO, a shared services accounting group which supports the finance and accounting functions of the three operating Divisions within Comcast. In her current role, she is responsible for the Company’s revenue interface process, various regulatory filings, and the month-end financial close process. During Joan’s 15 years at Comcast, she has also served as the Assistant Controller, and subsequently the Vice President and Controller, for the Eastern Division of Comcast where she had oversight for the Division’s finance and accounting operations.
Prior to joining Comcast in 2000, Joan was the Controller for a Philadelphia based non-profit membership organization for those in the field of cancer research. Prior to her role at the American Association for Cancer Research, she was an audit manager with the public accounting firm of Deloitte & Touche, a firm she joined upon graduation from Temple University.
Joan served on the Board of Directors of the Philadelphia Chapter of WICT from 2011-2014 where she oversaw the Chapter’s treasury function as well as focused on regional outreach. Joan resides in the suburbs of Philadelphia with her husband Chet and their three children.
