Johanna Dillon is the Assistant Vice President in charge of Field Management and Leadership Development at Bankers Life and Casualty. In her role, Johanna has the responsibility of managing and directing all leadership training and development activities for managers in over 160 branch sales offices.
Johanna has coached executives and high potential leaders in several organizations. She holds a coaching certification from PDI and DDI. Prior to joining Bankers she created and implemented executive coaching programs using accredited colleges, industry experts and other coaching resources.
With 20 years of training and development experience in various industries Johanna has enhanced and managed the training and development portfolio for the largest division of a Fortune 500 company; managed the sales training function for a privately owned global personal care company; and held various other training and development positions within the retail industry.
When Johanna joined Bankers Learning Network in 2005 she quickly assessed the field management training gaps. She immediately introduced a core leadership program for field leaders that fueled the desire for an innovative, comprehensive development strategy. The strategy includes a clear path for career development, competency identification, a structured approach to core management skill training and identified coursework for promotion through the career path.
Johanna lives in downtown Chicago, IL and enjoys yoga, skiing and reading. She has an undergraduate degree from Miami University in Oxford, OH and maintains several management and leadership certifications.
