Juli Blanda is a Vice President of Cable One (Sparklight), West Division. She is responsible for the overall operations of cable systems in Arizona, Idaho, Iowa, Nebraska, New Mexico, and North Dakota. Prior to her current position, Blanda served as a General Manager in the company’s South-Central Division since 2013. In addition to her time at Sparklight, Juli has over 22 years of telecommunications experience and over 24 years of management and leadership experience.
A consummate volunteer, Juli has served on many boards and committees including the San Antonio Food Bank and The Valero Alamo Bowl. She is the current President of the Greater Texas Chapter of WICT and the past Chairperson for the Texas Cable Association. She is the current President of the Aransas Pass Rotary and serves as Vice President for Keep Aransas Pass Beautiful. She mentors other women through the Greater Texas chapter of Women in Cable and Telecommunications. Juli is the 2015 Rising Star recipient of the WICT Greater Texas Lone Star Awards and a graduate of the Betsy Magness Leadership Institute. She is also a graduate of Leadership San Marcos, Leadership San Antonio, Leadership Aransas Pass and Leadership Port Lavaca. When Juli is not supporting Cable One/Sparklight or volunteering, she is taking yoga, working in her gardens or teaching kid’s yoga. Juli attended Texas A&M University where she studied Marketing and Spanish.
