Karen Bass is Manager of Technology in the Enterprise Dev Ops department for Cox Communications. In this role she provides leadership and strategic direction for design, development, delivery and maintenance of current and future technologies addressing internal and external business needs. She is responsible for identifying new technologies and tools to support and improve technology delivery, as well as establish and implement technical and operating performance standards.
Prior to joining Cox Communications, Karen began her career in the Telecommunications Industry with Bellsouth/AT&T. There she supported Digital Subscriber line technology, and went on to hold a series of additional roles within, Global Service Operations, Global Network Field Operations, and National Mobility services. Karen holds a Bachelors of Computer Information Systems from Florida A& M University, and an MBA from Kennesaw State University. She currently lives in Atlanta, Georgia where she spends her free time enjoying new dining experiences at local restaurants, and traveling.
