Karen Jones Hadley

Karen Jones Hadley is a Vice President of Media Relations at Home Box Office, responsible for the creation and execution of publicity campaigns in support of HBO’s original programming.

 

Karen joined HBO in 1999 and during her tenure has led publicity campaigns for many of HBO’s award-winning films and miniseries including Olive Kitteridge, Game Change, Taking Chance and The Pacific.  Her current projects include the series’ Westworld and Silicon Valley.

 

Prior to joining HBO, Karen was a freelance unit publicist, working on feature films including Beloved, As Good As It Gets, Amistad, Mars Attacks! and Devil in a Blue Dress. She also authored the movie companion book Mars Attacks! The Art of the Movie

 

Karen is a board member for the nonprofit Stand Tall International, which provides life-saving spinal surgeries for children from East Africa. A second generation native of Los Angeles, she received her B.A., magna cum laude, in French from Amherst College and did post-graduate studies in French Literature at New York University.

 

Karen lives in the city of Los Angeles with a full abode of family and dogs and is an indoor cycling enthusiast.
