Karen Rivenburg

Karen Rivenburg is the director of financial planning and analysis for the Oregon and Southwest Washington market of Comcast, a position she’s held since 2002. A summa cum laude graduate of Pacific Lutheran University, Rivenburg has worked in the accounting industry for more than 25 years and in the cable industry 17 years. Rivenburg started with Columbia Cable of Oregon as the controller for the market, and then moved with industry mergers to TCI and AT&T Broadband, fulfilling the role of regional director of business operations. Rivenburg has led her team of 13 to develop cost saving initiatives for the market and financial tools that help guide the operational decisions for the market. In her spare time, Rivenburg creates many different forms of crafts. For the past two years, she spearheaded a Comcast Cares Day project to create baby quilts for newborns at Doernbecher Children’s Hospital. She lives in West Linn, Oregon with her husband Jon.
