Kate McDevitt

Kate joined Comcast in September 2016 and is a Senior Manager, Internal Communications at Comcast. She develops and executes employee-centric communications to support Comcast’s initiatives to improve the customer experience. She’s responsible for driving employee engagement in ways that reinforce ongoing culture change. Previously, Kate was on the HR Communications team developing national campaigns around key HR initiatives, leading the execution and creative development.

Prior to joining Comcast, Kate started her career in New York City at the largest private public relations agency, Edelman, and was also a vice president at Tierney, a full-service agency in Philadelphia. In those roles, Kate led teams focused on corporate, brand, internal, and executive communications for clients including Fortune 100 companies, such as AmerisourceBergen. Kate led communications on a cross-functional M&A team for Pfizer and executed the first global employee-engagement contest for Johnson & Johnson.

Kate studied creative writing and graduated magna cum laude from Franklin & Marshall College. She now lives in Philadelphia, where she chairs the board of the Philadelphia Film Society Young Friends. She enjoys getting away to Lake Placid, New York for skiing and hiking with her husband.
