Kate Trautmann

​Kate Trautmann is currently Manager of Multiplatform Scheduling at CMT. In this role she oversees the network’s non-linear content strategy across a variety of platforms including Free and Subscription Video on Demand, Download to Own, and TV Everywhere. Kate is responsible for driving multiplatform performance while providing a positive viewer experience through unique stunts and diverse long-form and short-form content offerings. In her first year at CMT, she has grown the network’s non-linear presence by executing new strategic content offerings and cultivating multiplatform partnerships. She also plays an instrumental role in linear programming strategy to ensure key priorities are aligned across all platforms, with the intention of building awareness and driving linear viewership.

 

Previously, Kate spent six years at NBCUniversal, most recently as part of the team that launched the Esquire Network. Prior to that, she focused on Programming and Acquisitions at the Style Network where she developed the brand’s multiplatform presence while strategizing long-term and short-term linear programming plans. She also represented the network at key content markets including MIPCOM and Realscreen. 

 

Kate graduated from Ithaca College with a BA in Television/Radio; Television Production. She has been an active member of WICT since 2009, and previously served on the SoCal WICT Board as the Mentoring Program Co-Chair and LEA Awards Co-Chair.
