Katelyn McNicholas

Katelyn currently serves as the Director of Business Process Management on the Finance team for Comcast Business.  Katelyn joined this team in 2016 and has been leading a team through a multi-year business transformation program.  Katelyn and her team are responsible for aligning with finance stakeholders on impacts and changes to finance processes during sales, operations, care, billing, and accounting processes.  Katelyn and her team are also responsible for defining and documenting end state processes.

She began her career at Comcast in 2012 where she was part of the Corporate Accounting and Reporting department.  During her 4 years as part of that team she was responsible for maintaining Comcast’s external reporting and consolidation systems, she led Corporate Accounting in the reimplementation of Comcast’s general ledger accounting system and the implementation of an online expense reporting system for all corporate employees. Katelyn continued her career growth by accepting a Manager of Business Process Management in 2016.

Prior to joining Comcast in 2012, Katelyn spent 4 years with Ally Financial Services as a Staff Accountant and Financial Systems Analyst.  Katelyn maintained the chart of accounts and system policies, assisted financial reporting with the monthly close, and participated in a one-year rotational program supporting multiple accounting teams within the company.

Katelyn graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting. She currently resides in Philadelphia and enjoys spending time with her family.
