Katherine Atkinson

Katherine began her cable career in 2003 as a technical support agent for Cox Communications in Oklahoma City, OK.  There she learned the basics of cable’s technical infrastructure, guidelines and culture.  In 2005, she relocated to Tyler, Texas, to work as a technical supervisor in the Cox Middle America system. She soon after accepted a regional e-care supervisor position, giving her insight into the business of ecommerce and online correspondence.

With the inception of Suddenlink, Katherine was named national I-care manager.  In 2007, she managed the Regional Voice Operations team during the company’s initial launch of residential telephone.  In 2008, Katherine relocated to St. Louis, Mo., transitioning into the corporate support roles of senior telephony operations specialist and then advanced telephony specialist.

Today Katherine leads a cutting edge team of software applications engineers who support Suddenlink’s national NOC, regional engineering, and care center teams along with the enterprise-wide commercial project management tool.

Katherine earned her B.S. from Oklahoma City University and M.A. from the University of Central Oklahoma.  Although she grew up north of the Red River, she is an enthusiastic Texas Longhorn fan, challenging any Oklahoma Sooner to sway her otherwise.  She also is an avid Oklahoma City Thunder fan.
