Katie Barrett is Director of Business Process Effectiveness for National Field Operations at Comcast NBCUniversal in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In her current role she collaborates with internal stakeholders at multiple levels of the organization to help drive the company’s strategic initiatives aimed at gaining operational efficiencies in the field and enhancing the customer experience. Katie acts as the key contact for National Field Operations related initiatives and directly supports the Field Ops Sr. Leadership team. She is also engaged as an individual contributor on strategic key programs when necessary.
Katie was initially hired into the Test & Quality Management department at Comcast over 11 years ago.
Katie attended University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Anthropology. She also has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Management (MEM) from Pennsylvania State University.
Outside of work, Katie enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and playing soccer. She lives in Chester Springs, Pennsylvania with her husband Ciaran, their daughter Alexis (2.5), and their son Sean (5.5)!
