Katie is the Senior Director of Corporate Finance at GCI in Anchorage, Alaska. In her current role, she splits her time between leading the Corporate Properties and Warehouse Departments as well as leading cross departmental projects for Corporate Finance.
Tireless in her efforts to better her community, she currently serves on the Board of Directors as Treasure for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Alaska. She also volunteers as a wish granter at the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
She started her career at KPMG in 2008 as an audit associate, earned her CPA and became an audit manager. After working tirelessly for 7 years, she decided to change her career by heading to finance and telecom as Director of Corporate Finance with GCI.
She was born and raised in a small town in Washington and attended Washington State University where she majored in Finance and Accounting. Due to the stock market crash in 2008, she decided to follow a career in accounting before coming back home to her true passion of finance.
