Katie Richman

Katie Richman is the Director of Social Media Strategy for espnW, ESPN’s first dedicated business built to serve female athletes and fans. In her role, Katie leads the team in the creation and execution of social media brand integrations that align with overall business goals. She is passionate about creating big-picture systems that organically link digital and social media content. Katie has worked on social media throughout ESPN with various brands, shows, and events, helping teams focus on strategy and ROI.

Prior to espnW, Katie worked as a part of the ESPN Event Production team, integrating technology and very early social media concepts into live game and event broadcasts. She spent two years on the X Games team as a production manager, overseeing coordination of television and onsite production in Aspen and LA.

Before coming to ESPN, Katie worked for both Oxygen Media and Nickelodeon. She started her career on the Nick @ Nite Brand Creative team, igniting her social media belief that great content marketing is build and packaged around the assets you already have.

Katie received her B.A. in English from Providence College.
