Katina Arnold

Katina Vlahadamis Arnold serves as director, affiliate and new technologies communications at ESPN, responsible for strategic planning for affiliate communications related to ESPN, ESPN2, ESPN Classic, ESPNEWS and ESPN Deportes. She also oversees new technologies communications including ESPN HD, ESPN Broadband, ESPN Pay-Per-View, ESPN ITV, and ESPN Extra. She was promoted to this position in 2003 and joined the company in 2002. She is based at ESPN’s headquarters in Bristol, Ct., and reports directly to Rosa Gatti, senior vice president, communications. Arnold has served as Director of Media Relations for High Speed Access (HSA) in Littleton, Colo. from 1999 – 2001. She was responsible for directing and managing all media relations activities for the company and its more than 100 field offices. Under Arnold’s direction, HSA’s coverage by the media increased significantly. Prior to joining HSA, Arnold was Media Relations Manager for Comcast (formerly Tele-Communications, Inc.) in Englewood, Colo. Before that position, Arnold worked for Tele-Communications, Inc. as a marketing specialist for TCI Wireline, Inc. in Englewood and TCI Telephony Services in Arlington Heights, Ill. Arnold began her career in cable as a sales and marketing specialist for TCI Media Services, the local advertising sales arm of Tele-Communications, Inc. in Madison, Wisc. Arnold earned a B.S. degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
