Guided by these words from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., Kay Allen, Sr. Director of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEl&B) at Comcast NBCUniversal, has devoted her career to reimagining and diversifying opportunities for professionals from the frontline to senior leadership across various industries. Recognized as a talent modernizer, as a Certified Diversity Professional (CDP) and Prosci Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP), Allen has not only streamlined recruitment and diversity strategies across Comcast’s Central Division, but she has also led the charge in creating early career programs that have benefited hundreds of emerging leaders from colleges & universities across the United States.
Kay demonstrates her passion for the advancement of her industry by being an active member of The WICT Network, National Association of Multi Ethnicity in Communications (NAMIC), Society of Human Resource Management (SHRM), and the National Diversity Council (NDC). Kay Allen has also become a pillar of hope and opportunity by equally investing in serving local communities through her service with Goodwill Industries, Neighborhood Assistance Corporation of America(NACA), Year Up, and Deerwood Academy.
