Kay Logan is
a Director of Human Resources (HR) at Scripps Networks Interactive (SNI). In
her role, she serves as HR business partner for the international business
units, helping expand the company’s presence throughout the global landscape
and supporting the teams located in Knoxville, New York City, Miami, Sao Paulo,
and Buenos Aires. Kay also assists the company with talent acquisition, helping
lead hiring managers and prospective candidates throughout the recruitment
process.
Kay joined the
company in 2008 working in international programming. In this role, she
received a Chairman’s Award in 2013 for assisting in the development of a global
inventory, rights management, and fulfillment database. Prior to working with
SNI, she worked in Miami as an intern for over two years with the US Department
of Agriculture Caribbean Basin Trade Office, where her primary responsibilities
included helping expand US export opportunities in the Caribbean.
Kay graduated
Summa Cum Laude from the University of Tennessee, where she earned a Bachelor
of Arts in both Spanish and political science and was a four-year letter winner
and team captain of the women’s varsity rowing team. She also holds a Master of
Business Administration and Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean studies
from Florida International University.
An active member of WICT
since 2008, Kay consistently participates in local chapter events and has
served as a mentor in the WICT Southeast Student Mentoring Program. In her
spare time, she enjoys volunteering with the Mobile Meals organization, playing
volleyball, hiking, and traveling the world.
