Kimberly Nieskens

​​Kimberly works as Supervisor of Promotional Planning & Strategy in the Programming Department at WE tv, a division of AMC Networks based in New York City.  Primarily, she’s responsible for the accurate and timely execution of the network’s on-air promotional strategy, with a focus on audience retention. Kimberly works with her manager and the department’s Vice President to implement a cohesive on-air flow that reflects the network’s promotional priorities. Outside of her team Kimberly liaises with the Creative Services, Ad Sales, Operations, and Broadcast & Technology teams to ensure all promotional materials are delivered and ready for air. Kimberly has contributed to the successful promotional campaigns for WE tv’s hit series, Braxton Family Values and Marriage Boot Camp: Bridezillas. Before her role as Supervisor, Kimberly served as the department’s coordinator. 
 
Kimberly graduated from Lafayette College with a BA in English with concentrations in Anthropology and Sociology. In her senior year at Lafayette she interned at NBC Universal in their Promotions Department. 
 
During her time at WE tv Kimberly participated in the network’s Employee Development committee for several years, helping to organize and execute several volunteer initiatives. She also participated in the network’s mentor program. Kimberly is an active member of WICT’s NY chapter.

 

Outside of her passion for television, Kimberly’s other passion is music. She grew up in a musical household, her father is a drummer in a rock band and Kimberly never misses one of his concerts. Musical herself, in 2011 she played a flute solo at the company’s annual All Staff meeting. She also enjoys reading, writing, and cooking.
