Kimberly Sparrow

Kimberly Sparrow is a director of production services for the Creative Services Sports Unit (CSSU) at Turner Sports. CSSU is an internal creative agency that services all of sports creative needs for Turner and its league partners. This includes all creative broadcast packaging, graphic design, music, post-production, web design, multimedia content, promotion, creative marketing, creative sponsorship and ad sales support for sports content across the sports portfolio.

 

In her role, Sparrow manages liner and digital production services teams, process and creative approvals of marketing and sponsored materials for TNT, tbs, truTV, NBA TV, NBA.com, NCAA.com and PGA.com. Sparrow reports to Bill Callen, vice-president, Production Services.

 

While at Turner, Sparrow has risen through the ranks of the Creative Services Sports Unit serving in different capacities managing promotional planning, production budgets for both linear and digital production services teams. Throughout her work with CSSU, she has received numerous accolades including Sports Emmys, PROMAX and BDA awards.  Sparrow joined Turner Sports in 2006 as a marketing assistant working on promotional spots and scheduling before transitioning into the Creative Services Unit in 2008.

 

Sparrow began her career in the broadcast planning group with NASCAR Digital Entertainment modifying program schedules and coordinating changes with NASCAR Competition Department, NDE Broadcasting and major networks (NBC/FOX/TNT/SPEED Channel).

 

Sparrow earned her bachelor’s degree in communication studies from Stetson University.
