Kristen Roberts

Kristen L. Roberts serves as the Vice President of Public Relations & Community Investment for Comcast’s Western New England Region, which employs 1,700 individuals and serves customers in more than 300 communities in Connecticut, western Massachusetts, western New Hampshire, Vermont and New York.  In this role she serves as a company spokesperson and oversees community outreach and external communications.
 
Roberts joined Comcast in 2002 as Manager of Public Affairs for Connecticut and was promoted to Area Director of Government and Community Relations in 2004.  While in these positions, she was responsible for overseeing all aspects of government and public affairs and directing community investment strategies and employee volunteer opportunities.  She went on to serve as the Senior Director of Public Relations & Community Investment for the region before being promoted to her current role in 2010.

 

Roberts has been involved with WICT since joining Comcast and served two terms as President of the New England Chapter.  Currently, she is a Trustee of Goodspeed Musicals and serves on the Boards of the Middlesex County Chamber of Commerce, Eastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce and the Middlesex United Way, where she will serve as Chair of the 2016/2017 campaign.

 

In 2015, she was recognized as a “Women in Business” honoree by the Hartford Business Journal and in 2014 she was an honoree at the Urban League of Southern Connecticut’s Women’s Empowerment Summit.

Roberts holds an MPA from the University of Hartford, a BS in Management from Central Connecticut State University and she also graduated from the Paralegal Program at the University of Hartford. 

 

Roberts resides in Old Saybrook, Connecticut with her daughter.
