Kristen Weathersby

Kristen Weathersby is Assistant General Counsel for Cox Communications, Inc. in Atlanta, Georgia.  After litigating at various Atlanta firms, she joined Cox Communications in April of 2000.  She was promoted to Senior Counsel in 2002.  In 2006, she was promoted to Assistant General Counsel and head of litigation. Currently, Kristen oversees all litigation for Cox Communications and its subsidiaries.  Kristen is responsible for creating a cross functional team that together developed and implemented Cox’s ediscovery process, and she currently manages that ongoing process.

Mrs. Weathersby received her B.A. from Furman University in Greenville, South Carolina in both History and Economics & Business Administration where she was a member of Senior Order.  After a brief stint in the Trust Department at Trust Company Bank, Kristen attended Georgia State University School of Law serving on the Student Government and the Moot Court Board.

Kristen is an active member of the Georgia Bar and Women in Cable and Telecommunications (WICT) where she is currently serving on its Atlanta Board.  An avid reader, Kristen is a member of two book clubs.  Kristen used to be an avid tennis player and golfer; however, as of late she has spent more time raising her 3 year old daughter.
