Kristie Moomey is Vice President Studio Content Operations & Post Production for TNT/TBS. In this role, she oversees brand technical & content operations, as well as post production for unscripted, live, late night and specials programming. She guides the content operations group in understanding changing internal and external client specifications as technologies evolve and multiplatform obligations heavily influence content production, distribution and storage strategies. Kristie leads all post production for unscripted series and live specials including FULL FRONTAL WITH SAMANTHA BEE, CONAN, SAG AWARDS, iHEART RADIO awards, DROP THE MIC and AMERICAN RACE. She supervises a small creative team responsible for ancillary content production and editorial services. She also manages the archives of the Originals group and administers the technical distribution of TNT/TBS assets internally and externally.
During Kristie’s 15 years at Turner, she has progressively moved through various roles. She started as a Production Coordinator for TNT’s original movies. From there, she was promoted to Manager of Production and Post Production for TNT movies & original drama series. After some organizational changes, she started overseeing TBS comedy series as well. She then added late night & unscripted programming when she was promoted to Director of Post Production, eventually adding digital extensions as Sr. Director of Post Production.
Prior to Turner, Kristie held a few freelance production jobs for Peter Engle Productions, was a Feature Estimating Coordinator at MGM Studios, and worked at Rysher Entertainment in Business Affairs.
Kristie graduated from UCLA and lives in Los Angeles, California with her husband and two young daughters. She is a member of the Television Academy and UCLA Alumni Association Mentor Program. Kristie is also involved with HPA/Women in Post, SMPTE and Turner Women Today, and internal Turner business resource group.
