Ms. Faulkner began her career in the newspaper industry as a photographer, but through her 10-year tenure at the Tribune Co., she held multiple business development and leadership roles in the area of online media and online auto and real estate classifieds.  Ms. Faulkner has had the challenge and the good fortune to help organizations embrace change and grow new markets enabled by technology.  In the newspaper industry, the challenge was to recognize the opportunities presented by the Internet, principally in the online classifieds business.  In the cable industry, it’s addressing the bountiful opportunities with the commercial services sector.

A Newport News, Virginia native, Ms. Faulkner now lives in Atlanta, Ga. She holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary in Williamsburg, Va., and a bachelor’s degree in communications from Ithaca College in New York.  Ms. Faulkner is an executive member of Women in Cable and Telecommunications and is also an active member of the Cable & Telecommunications Association for Marketing, serving on their business services council.  She was selected in the May 2006 Multichannel News edition as a “Top 40 Under 40” honoree and was also selected to CableWorld’s “Top Women in Technology” in November of 2006.
