Kristine Mathason is Director of Production Management for Viacom International Media Networks’ Americas Division, working out of the Miami office. She is responsible for overseeing the entire slate of current productions for TR3S, the network’s US Hispanic Channel.
Aside from budgeting, scheduling, corporate compliance and field logistics, Kristine manages the relationships with third party production companies and works hand-in-hand with the Integrated Marketing team to find creative and budget-friendly production solutions for the channel’s advertisers.
Throughout her 15 years in Production Management, Kristine has enjoyed working on a wide variety of programming formats including promo campaigns, game shows, scripted novellas, reality series, documentary specials, hosted daily shows, music specials, corporate events and live awards shows. Her work for Viacom International has given her the opportunity to produce shows and events in Mexico, Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Venezuela, South Africa, and across the United States.
Kristine graduated from Florida State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication. She also earned an MBA from the University of Miami in Management and International Business.
In 2001, she was the recipient of MTV Networks Latin America Employee of the Year award. In addition to working at Viacom, she has line produced several short films and previously worked at WLRN-17 Public Television. Kristine resides in Miami, FL with her husband Dan and their daughter Emma.
