Refugio “Kukis” Moran is a Senior Manager of Market Design at Comcast Communications. In her current role, she is responsible for the network design connecting Comcast to other voice providers in IL, MI, IN and the Northeast Division. Kukis’ team also supports strategic initiatives to deploy next-generation network platforms, products and services, such as IMS and SIP. In her 13 years in telecommunications, Kukis has held positions in Customer Service, Network Operations and Engineering.
Kukis holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management of Communication and Media Technology from Regis University and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Telecommunications at the University of Denver. She is a founding member of the QC2 Success Mentoring program and a lead for the Denver Product Engineering Women’s group.
Kukis is a volunteer with Goodwill Industries of Denver where she spends time in high school classrooms talking about the importance of staying in school. She is also a member of the Goodwill NextGen Young Professional’s group.
