Latasha Nelson currently serves as a Sales Operations Learning Manager for Cox Communications. Her role supports the Residential Sales organization across all channels and involves creating and executing learning strategies that lead to engaged employees, extraordinary customer service and excellent results.
Growing up, Latasha was blessed to have several adults invest time, energy and words of wisdom towards her growth and development. It was their influence that allowed her to participate in programs like INROADS, which exposed her to Corporate America. She has since committed herself to paying it forward through service in programs like her local INROADS alumni chapter, volunteering in youth organizations like Cool Girls and serving as a youth group leader at her church. In an effort to expand her reach, she hopes to be accepted into the United Way VIP program so that she may serve on the board of a non-profit in her community.
Latasha has had the great fortune of serving as a trusted advisor and solutions architect in multiple organizations including Cox Automotive, Kindred at Home (formerly Gentiva Health Services), SMC Corporation of America and L’Oreal USA. Her dream is to influence positive, sustainable change in the public education space and to create an environment for young advocates to grow and lead in the future.
Latasha holds a Doctorate in Education and feels the most invigorated when exposed to new challenges accompanied by the opportunity to learn. She also loves spending time with her husband, Moses, their two daughters, Shanna and Mikayla, and everyone’s favorite dog wonder, Rocky.
