Laura Forti

Laura Forti is director for Turner Entertainment Networks (TEN) Distribution, the division of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. that handles ancillary market distribution for TBS, TNT, truTV and Turner Classic Movies (TCM) original programs. TEN Distribution group is responsible for monetizing the programming within the ancillary marketplace, primarily through international distribution and co-production opportunities. Forti is based in New York and reports to Michael Lanzillotta, senior vice president of truTV business affairs and TEN Distribution.

As director of distribution, Forti develops and implements strategies for international distribution for Turner’s original entertainment programming in order to drive global expansion, secure production and distribution partnerships and generate significant annual revenue. Forti also oversees an international asset management system she launched for the company. She works closely with global partners to streamline the distribution and delivery process and manages the staff supporting these efforts.

Forti has spent the past nine years with Turner Broadcasting and, prior to its acquisition by Turner, Court TV. She has held a variety of roles within the international distribution and business affairs divisions, most recently serving as international distribution/co-production and business affairs manager for truTV, which transformed from Court TV in 2008.

Forti earned her bachelor’s degree from The College of New Jersey, spending a portion of her time studying at The University of Oxford. She resides in Montclair, N.J., with her husband and daughter.
