Laura Huybers is currently a Local Sales Manager in Southern New Mexico for Comcast Spotlight. She leads a team of Account Executives that specialize in local business development. Her team is spread across the vast, open parts of Southern New Mexico, which include markets in the El Paso DMA, Albuquerque/Santa Fe DMA, and Amarillo DMA.
Laura joined the fast paced, exciting world of cable television ad sales in 2000 with AT&T Broadband as an Account Executive. Over the years she’s worked for Comcast Marketlink, Time Warner Cable Media Sales, and Comcast Spotlight. In 2007, she was promoted to Local Sales Manager with Comcast Spotlight, and was awarded the prestigious President’s Club Award for 2012. Laura has 20 years of experience in the broadcast advertising industry, 13 of those years in cable television advertising.
Laura is a graduate of New Mexico State University, and as a native New Mexican Laura knows the fast growing Southern New Mexico and El Paso, TX markets better than most. She lives in Las Cruces, NM with her husband Michael. Laura has a valuable local perspective plus the knowledge of what it takes to succeed during this exciting period in the history of the market.
